First-time pairing

1. Enable Remote Play on your console and allow it to wake from rest mode.
2. Put the Windows PC and console on the same local network.
3. Choose Link Device on the console and keep the 8-digit code visible.
4. Open Console Stream Studio, choose Guided setup, then launch the streaming engine to register.

The console is not discovered

Set the Windows network profile to Private, temporarily disable VPN software and allow both Console Stream Studio and chiaki-ng through Windows Firewall on private networks. You can also enter the console IP address manually in the engine.

The engine does not open

Install the latest GPU driver and confirm the graphics adapter supports Vulkan 1.2. Console Stream Studio requires Windows 10 build 17763 or newer and a 64-bit processor.

Audio crackles or video skips

Lower bitrate before reducing resolution. Start with the Balanced profile at 15 Mbps. If the issue continues, disable HDR or switch from HEVC to H.264.

Account and pairing data

We cannot retrieve or reset pairing credentials because they remain on your PC. Re-register the console in the engine if the console or account configuration changes.
